Chicago girl living in Asia exploring the world of fashion, food and culture to share this experience with everyone.

_MG_6877I was very excited to check out “The Little Black Jacket” exhibition during my trip to Singapore.  The exhibit was a tribute to Chanel’s Classic black jacket with a twist.  Once I stepped into the gallery, I was surrounded by rows and rows of portraits of different celebrities, designers and pop culture personalities all wearing the iconic jacket. 20131130_152013 20131130_152301Karl Lagerfeld is a man of many artistic talent. Not only is he an iconic designer, but his is also a phenomenal photographer. He photographed different individuals with their interpretation of the “jacket”. The star studded portraits ranged from Song Hye Kyo, a Korean actress, to Alexander Wang.    _MG_6881 _MG_6884 _MG_6890 _MG_6894 _MG_6897 _MG_6902 20131130_152714 20131130_152858 20131130_153031 20131130_153049 20131130_153522 20131130_153701 PicMonkey Collage two pics The exhibit initially started in April 2012 in Tokyo Japan and traveled throughout the world to London and currently in Singapore. If you love Chanel or just want to check out great artistic photos, I highly recommend to check out “The Little Black Jacket”. The exhibit will remain in Singapore until January 1 so please definitely check it out.
